The figure
4.6
Out of 5, worked out from all 101 published scores, not only the ones printed below. It is not a number chosen because it reads well: edit one entry and the build either recalculates it or stops.
How all 101 split
The visits that went sideways are printed alongside the ones that did not. A wall of top marks tells a reader nothing, and a bench that has never had a part turn up wrong is a bench nobody has ever used.
The 12 most recent
The dishwasher door had started weeping at the corner and the panel was unresponsive on some cycles. He replaced the seal and traced the panel fault to a connector corroded by the coastal air.

The oven ran hot enough to ruin two dinners. Rather than adjust the offset and call it done he measured through a full cycle, found the failing sensor and replaced it, then measured again to prove the fix.
Alastair F.2026-09-16
After a very wet week the oven would run for ten minutes and cut out. He found moisture had tracked into a control connector under the trim, dried and remade the joint, and sealed the route it came in by.
Casimir B.2026-09-14
Our refrigerator column had been drifting for weeks. He found a sealed system that was slowly losing its charge, was straight with me about what that costs to put right on a unit this age, and did the work properly.
Yarrow B.2026-09-11
Detergent tablets were still sitting in the dispenser at the end. The wax motor on the flap had failed and a spray jet was blocked. He replaced one and cleared the other, then ran a full cycle before leaving.
Philippa N.2026-09-09
The vent over the rangetop had lost most of its pull. Filters were loaded, the wheel was out of balance with old grease and the duct run had a crushed section behind the wall plate. He worked through all three.
Lavinia D.2026-09-04
The built-in ran long and never quite reached temperature after the summer. Condenser fins were matted, one fan blade was clipping its shroud, and the door seal had gone slack. He sorted all three and it holds now.
Lysander B.2026-09-02
Our refrigerator was sweating along the door frame through July. He measured the cabinet against the room, found a mullion circuit that had gone open and a seal that no longer gripped, and put both right.
Emmeline G.2026-08-30
The refrigerator side drifted warm while the freezer stayed hard. He measured the evaporator fan pulling almost nothing, traced it to a failed motor, and cleared the drain while the panel was off. Cold within the hour.
Quentin A.2026-08-26
The range in a house that stands empty half the year would not hold a roast temperature. He found corrosion on the sensor connection from the sea air and a door seal that had hardened. Both replaced.
Theodora N.2026-08-23
The bin stopped filling overnight. Rather than guess he measured the cycle time, found the condenser starved of air behind the plinth, cleaned it and the machine was back to a full bin by the next morning.
Genevra P.2026-08-19
The refrigeration was cycling oddly and the crisper kept freezing. He found a damper that was sticking open and a sensor reading low, replaced both and checked the temperature across the cabinet afterwards.

How to read these
Each entry is filed under the equipment it concerned and the region it happened in, so the page for a category shows the feedback belonging to that category and a region page shows the work done there. That is also where the entries not printed above are: they are not hidden, they are shelved next to the subject they are about. Names appear as a first name and an initial, which is as much as anyone agreed to publish.
No entry quotes a figure. What a visit costs is on the pricing page, where it can be checked against the invoice, and what happens if a repair does not hold is on the warranty page. If a fault above sounds like yours, the page for that equipment type explains how it gets diagnosed. $80 flat diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair when you approve the work. 90 days on labor, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts only.
